Few months ago, I got a chance to read my poems in a small bookstore in Carbondale, Illinois. It was called Confluence books. I was to share the event with a well-known poet from Illinois, Fog, who is better known by penname jacob erin-cilberto. The experience was extremely positive for me, and hopefully to everyone that attended. My slight stage fright for never reading my poems publicly before disappeared as soon as we got started. The interaction with the audience and Fog was amazing. Fog was reading poems from his book "A Jersey Shore in Ryegate". I was reading from "Poems of Life". After the event For asked to write a review from my book to Highland Park Poetry. The review came out last month and I could not hope for a better review!
